Scaling the Desk Lamp

The metal gooseneck of the desk lamp looked practically like a suspension bridge, so obviously I had to climb it! Getting up the slippery notebook cover was trickier than I thought—lost my footing twice, almost took a nosedive into an empty ceramic mug, totally normal—but I caught a coiled USB cable just in time. From there, I swung up onto the lamp's joint and scrambled straight to the rim of the metal shade. Looking out through the blinds, I can see whole city blocks stretching out below! Now I just need to figure out how to get down without doing a belly flop onto the keyboard.
