Escaping the haunted maze

Soumei and Kei tiptoes past the doorway, but the crouching troll stirs and opens its glowing eyes. The troll rises to pursue the costumed pair as they sprint along the dimly lit trail. The heavy troll closes the distance along the winding path as the exit sign comes to view. The pair makes it through the exit and the presence of the troll disappeared.
