First Roll Forward

Axles unlock. Four wheels spin. I roll forward off the painted daisy petal, crossing straight into a green printed leaf. Ahead looms a cracked white wall. I tap its rough plaster with my front bumper, reverse an inch, and steer sideways along the edge. Ready for the next stretch.
