"Atian, a silent agent of the Viper School"

Atian was born in a remote village in the south of the Nilfgaardian Empire. As a child, he was recruited and taken to Gorthur Gvaed, the secret stronghold of the Viper School in the Tir Tochair mountains. There, he underwent the Trial of the Grasses, surviving the mutations that transformed him into a Witcher: nerves of steel, night vision, heightened resilience, and inevitable sterility. During his early training, Atian was given an animal to adopt—as was the custom among the Vipers—and he formed a deep bond with it. Later, however, he was ordered to kill the creature in a cruel manner, a task intended to harden him and strip him of all emotional attachments. Atian excelled in swordsmanship, wielding a blade as lethal as a viper's fangs—the hallmark of the Viper School. His fighting style was a spectacle of fluid, rapid, and unpredictable movements. His sword was often coated in crafted poisons, the product of the school's renowned alchemical expertise.
