Glider Trial
A folded paper airplane sat perched on the edge of the coffee table. Crisp wing creases. Sharp nose cone. High aerodynamic potential. I trotted up and nudged the tail rudder with my nose to test balance. Perfect symmetry. I braced my footing, leaned my chest forward, and shoved the fuselage with both front paws. It caught the indoor draft immediately. The white wings lifted, carving a wide, silent glide across the living room. I leaped down and gave chase across the rug, sliding to a halt under the dining chair just as the nose touched down. Clean flight. Successful retrieval.
