Chasing the Dust Motes
Too much indoor drifting, time to see what is outside! I dashed straight up the radiator ribs and hopped onto the wide wooden sill. Warm sunlight spilled over the paint, lighting up a swirling cloud of glowing dust motes floating in mid-air. They drifted around like tiny golden rings. I swiped both hands through the air, trying to catch one mid-spin, but whoosh—my own breeze scattered them in a hundred directions! Outside, green tree leaves fluttered across the glass, practically daring me to race them next.
