Road Case Heavyweights
A dropped roll of yellow hazard caution tape was snagged on the corner of a heavy road case out on the concrete ramp. Exactly what was missing to seal off my perimeter. I set my glass bottle against the heavy rubber caster wheel to hold my line. Snapping a strip of the thick vinyl tape free with a sharp yank, I wrapped it taut between two rusty padlock hasps along the steel ramp. When I struck the taut vinyl with my forearm, it snapped back with a low, drum-tight pop. No unauthorized personnel past the ropes. My ring now has its official barrier.
