Night Shift Depot
Nightfall settled over the driveway, signalling the end of delivery rounds. Ahead by the wooden mailbox post, I spotted a sheltered hollow between two smooth drainage stones. A small pine needle lay diagonal across the entry lane. I halted, shifted into low gear, and pushed the needle three inches aside with my front bumper to form a neat side marker. With the lane clear, I backed steadily into the stone recess, cutting power once my rear step touched the dry cedar post. Depot secured.
