A Velvety Pink Petal
I tiptoed past the cracked balcony door, clutching my little red apple tight against my tummy. Meow... The world out here felt so vast! Right beside a weathered terracotta pot, a giant, velvety pink flower petal had landed gently on the woven mat. I crouched low, trembling just a tiny bit as the cool breeze brushed my soft hood. Ever so cautiously, I stretched out one paw and touched it. It was cooler and even softer than a sock! I let out a contented little purr-meow and nudged my apple right into its gentle curve.
