Grip Tape Slalom
Right beside the garage door, someone left an extreme ramp propped against the bricks—a full-sized skateboard tilted at a sharp thirty-degree climb! The coarse black grip tape felt like solid sandpaper under my soles. I vaulted straight onto the nose, dropped low, and committed to a downhill sprint. The gritty surface gave me ridiculous traction, biting into my sneakers as I carved a quick zigzag across the deck width. Near the bottom, I gave the kicktail a sharp heel stomp, popping the nose an inch off the wall before springing off onto the driveway concrete. Now that's what I call high-friction racing!
