A Slight Flexion Test
I noticed a faint, warm impulse starting in my joints. Lying back on the dense, woolly fibers of the carpet, I focused on testing my motor responsiveness. First, I twitched my right glove. It moved! Fascinating. Next, I angled my hand downward, pressing my fingers directly against the woven gray tufts beneath me. The resistance was soft and springy. Concurrently, a slight flick of my tails confirmed balanced torque. I can move on my own volition!
