Morning Routine Unbroken
I set my boots upon the dense coir bristles of the entry mat, greeting the quiet morning with deliberate focus. To my right rested the small acorn cap secured from last night's perimeter patrol. An uncalibrated mind leaves trophies unattended; a disciplined one turns them into apparatus. I took a low, wide stance, planted my taped right knuckles flat against the fiber weave, and began a set of single-arm planks over the tiny vessel. Every muscle engaged, holding steady balance while the house remained still. The foundation must be reinforced daily.
