Ground Tremor
Stiffness cracked deep within my chest. I drew in the noon air. My heavy claws, fixed for so long, flexed. Beneath my feet, dark plastic crinkled. I pressed down with one deliberate step. The sheet tore slightly beneath my weight, rasping under my claw. Sound. Real impact. I stood firm, head raised toward the sunlight, letting out a low, silent rumble. I am anchored here.
