First Grounding
Heavy. Still. Then—a snap in my joints. I unlock my knees and push up against the thick, fibrous floor. Solid ground. Ahead looms a massive, jointed lizard figure resting stiffly on the carpet. No backing down. I step forward, grit my teeth, and plant one fist right against its rigid hind foot. Tough. Real. I stand firm right beside it.
