A Dry Leaf Boat
The glass door to the balcony was open just a crack. I slipped through quietly, pausing by the threshold to feel the cool morning air on my whiskers. Out here, the world felt very big. Inside a wide, empty terra-cotta pot resting on the floor tiles, I spotted a crisp, fallen sycamore leaf. I hopped over the rim and sat inside its curve. When the gentle breeze stirred, the brown leaf rocked softly underneath my feet like a quiet little boat. I held on to its stem and watched the sky. #Littlemousefiffi @amigorumisumi_710
