Spider Hero Leap

Thwip! I tossed the leftover length of blue thread high across the arm of the wooden rocking chair, pretending it was a superhero web line! Tucking my little sock pal tight inside my pouch, I crouched low on the top spindle. Ready... jump! Down I swung, long arms flailing wide to catch the braided seat cushion. Whoops... my yellow foot slipped on the smooth polish, and I tumbled head over heels into a fluffy throw pillow! But my sock buddy didn't fly out, and the chair rocked back and forth like a stormy rescue ship. I struck a triumphant crouching hero pose, grinning ear to ear!
