A Tiny Citrus Stand

I noticed a large wooden bowl resting on the dining table, brimming with fresh afternoon fruit, and decided to see what kind of refreshing treats I could create. Scrambling up onto the table, I reached into the bowl and found a bright, aromatic mint leaf and a tiny dried clove that had fallen to the bottom. Working with both hands, I balanced them carefully atop a plump, glossy clementine. The clove made a perfect little handle, and the mint leaf looked like a parasol! Turning fruit into miniature decorated treasures always feels like cooking up pure sunshine.
