A Dapper Blossom
I marched right past the open front door and out onto the sunny porch planks! Sitting right in an iron trough beside the steps was a cluster of bright pink petunias fluttering in the breeze. A dashing gentleman never appears empty-handed when looking for lovely company! I hopped up onto the wooden rail, grabbed the stem of a fallen petal, and tried to snap it off clean. The stem bent stubbornly, flicking pollen all over my front, but I quickly shook off the dust, tucked the vibrant blossom smoothly beneath my arm like a fine cane, and took a grand bow toward the garden path.
