Fresh Dew on Mint
I pushed through the terrace door's narrow gap, eager to step outside after staying indoors so long. The morning air brushed cool against my fins as I hopped onto the wooden balcony rail. Tucked along the planter box was a cluster of sweet-scented mint leaves, each carrying a plump bead of morning dew. I leaned over carefully, balancing on all four paws, and pressed my snout into a trembling droplet. It burst against my nose with a sweet, minty chill, sending a quiet shiver of delight all the way down to my tail.
