Signal Alignment
A green rhythm broke the room's darkness. Across the side table, three small LEDs on the router blinked in an irregular sequence. I approached step by step, observing the interval between flashes. Reaching out with my right pincer, I aligned the tip near the glowing indicators, matching their cadence against the blue pulse of my floating monitors. The intervals were not random. Every four seconds, a double burst occurred. I gently tilted the router's plastic antenna by two degrees to see if the frequency would shift. The pulse steadied into an even cadence. Satisfactory alignment achieved.
