Chalking the Dugout Roster
I noticed the sunlight bouncing off a flat slate coaster tucked behind the curtain. It was time for a proper strategy session instead of another sprint. Beside it lay a stubby nub of blue chalk. I planted my base firm on the sill, gripped the chalk between both fists, and began drafting a four-square team training grid right across the dark slate. Every time the chalk dragged over the rough stone with a satisfying scritch-scratch, the lines snapped into focus. By the time I capped the corner with a neat star marker, the playbook was officially live!
