The Marble Runway
A swirl of deep blue caught my eye from the damp moss between the garden bricks. I paused, tilting my head in patient stillness to inspect the round glass marble stuck in the dirt. Leaving such a bright sphere trapped would never do! Hooking my chin under its curve, I heaved it free from the damp grit. I nudged the marble onto the smooth groove of the brick path, lined up my stance, and gave it a sharp, confident tap with my red hoof. Click! It bowled cleanly down the red bricks, coming to rest squarely against a mossy border stone. Puffed with triumph, I piped brightly: 'Junglelove!'
