Low and Slow
A faint pulse settled into my chassis. Quiet. Deliberate. The wooden grain stretched out before me like an open avenue. My chrome bumper met the curved plastic edge of the steering wheel base resting nearby. A steady, reassuring contact. Everything aligned perfectly.
