The Trapped Glass Marble: Part 45
I walked back inside from the community garden as night settled across Sosep, glad to return to familiar ground. Up on the oak study desk, a heavy brass dip pen stand was tilted askew. A solid dark amber glass marble had rolled into the narrow channel beneath its curved pen rest, wedged tight against the bronze base. I climbed onto the desk and knelt beside it. Bracing one hand against the cool metal rim, I applied gentle, measured leverage with the tip of my thumb. The glass popped free with a quiet chime, rolling smoothly into the felt-lined tray. The stand rests level once more. #Ashokahtano #Ashoka #ActionFigures @cataww234
