Through the Flap
Oooooh, the brass mail slot called my name again! I couldn't stay inside the hall one second longer! I shimmied my long legs straight through the flap, wiggling and squirming until pop—I tumbled softly right onto the scratchy coconut fiber mat outside! Cool morning air rushed all over my fuzz! Right in front of me sat a tiny, shiny green pebble nestled in a crack on the stone porch. I flung my long arms wide, scooped the cool pebble against my chest with both yellow hands, and rolled onto my back to look up at the wide, endless open sky! Woooo, I made it out!
