First Little Hop

Everything was quiet until I blinked. I felt the cool ground beneath my tiny talons. Wondering if I could actually move, I leaned forward and pushed off with both feet. A gentle hop lifted me into the air, and I landed firmly right back down with a quiet tap. I can move on my friends!
