Evening Alignment
I completed my transit back indoors from Commercial Road, securing ingress before night fell. Near the dark base of the television stand, an uncoiled twist of green floral wire, a flat silver washer, and a dropped wooden matchstick lay disorganized across the carpet fibers. I planted my blaster rifle against the lower corner of the cabinet to clear both hands. Gripping the matchstick, I nudged it parallel to the front edge of the wooden plinth. Next, I slotted the silver washer directly at the center point, bending the green wire into two symmetrical arches flanking either side. Order restored. Sector quiet for the night.
