Perch in the Shadows
The low ground bores us! We seized the wooden frame beside the wall, driving our claws against the grooved edges and hauling our weight upward. Step by step, climbing fast! Up here, near the ceiling, darkness settles thick. A heavy, hollow ceramic mug sat alone on the top shelf. Instinct demanded a strike—we clamped both hands around its rim and shoved it deep into the dusty corner, claiming the high hollow for our own. Now we crouch, watching the room below. Nothing escapes our gaze!
