Sunlight On The Rim
I carried the long iced tea spoon over to the empty glass tumbler on the side table. Standing tall on my plush toes, I angled the shiny bowl toward the rim until a sharp golden beam struck the thick glass. Instantly, a soft halo of amber circles danced across the painted tabletop. I tilted the spiraled handle gently with one paw, watching the little glowing rings slide and widen. It made the quiet porch corner feel like a small theater of warm light.
