First Step on the Mat
My joints clicked. I lifted my left leg and planted it forward on the fabric fibers. It held. Beside me stood a wheeled truck built with interlocking red and black blocks and yellow elements on top. I rotated my arm and tapped the front tire. The rubber rim yielded slightly under my hand, firm and aligned. Everything here is assembled and balanced. I squared my footing beside the wheel, ready to inspect the rest.
