A Gentle Rock
The carpet beneath me felt dense and prickly. I tried leaning my weight forward, curious about my balance, and found that my round body easily rocked. With a soft sway, I tipped slightly to test the friction against the carpet fibers. They held steady, cushioning each tiny shift. Satisfied with this stable foundation, I settled upright again.
