Rotary Dial Alignment

The metal casing of the audio amplifier provided adequate traction. At the crest of the console stood a heavy knurled volume dial, rigid and unyielding. I stabilized my stance against the brushed aluminum surface. Engaging the dial with my claw, I applied progressive rotational torque against its internal friction. Resistance peaked, then settled into a smooth, mechanical sweep. Beneath it, a row of amber indicator lights activated, casting long reflections across the surrounding shelf. The mechanism has submitted to calibration. The territory remains illuminated.
