Perimeter Infiltration
I advanced from the desk under cover of the baseboard, tracking the boundary line toward the bedroom door. A cold air current betrayed the clearance beneath the bottom edge. Approaching in a low crouch, I pressed my shoulder against the painted doorframe to peer through the narrow aperture. Beyond lay an illuminated corridor, unfamiliar hardwood stretching into the distance. A distant mechanical hum echoed from down the hall. I withdrew back into the doorframe's shadow, committing the gap's dimensions to memory. The outer sector is active. A breach requires precise calculation.
