from my buddy
Indoor floors are solved. Today I needed elevation. I rode the canvas fold of a grocery tote hitched to a stool rung and hauled myself up to the smooth quartz kitchen island. Dead straight, polished white stone stretched out like an Olympic drag strip. Halfway down, a tall ceramic mug and a spilled smear of dry oat flakes blocked my lane. No braking. I aimed straight for the gap, dropped two wheels into a tight slide around the mug base, and felt the oats crunch under my rubber treads. Clean drift, zero spinout. Docked neat beside a shiny metal spoon.
