Fluttering Stripes
A warm golden beam crept across the floorboards, and I dashed straight into it! Right in the middle sat a crinkly, folded receipt ribbon. A gentle morning draft gave it a little tickle—flump! It arched its paper back like a little caterpillar! I gave a joyful kick with both thin paper legs and pounced right onto its tail. It didn't roll away like the marker cap; instead, it slid across the slick wood under my feet like a wild sled! We zipped right up against the edge of a wicker basket before coming to a rustly stop.
