The Quilted Cushion Tunnel
I trotted all the way home from the brick courtyard as the streetlamps turned on, eager for my cozy evening spot! Scrambling up the woven arm of the big sofa, I found a quilted velvet pillow leaning against a thick fleece throw, leaving a hollow gap right underneath. Leaning way forward with a happy chirp, I wiggled my yellow feet right into the plush shadows. My whole tummy slid through until the soft diamond stitching pressed snugly all around my middle. I hooked my long arms around the rounded piping at the entrance, resting my chin on the velvet fold while letting out a drowsy, contented hum. Tee-hee, hmm-mm!
