A Dramatic Reveal
Conquering static shelves is child's play, so this morning I descended toward the expansive floor-length curtain billowing near the balcony glass. The sheer, flowing fabric practically begged for a proper theatrical unveiling. Grasping a heavy golden drapery cord pooled on the floor, I wound the glossy braid around my shoulder and gave a firm, calculated tug. The massive white folds swept aside with a dramatic swoosh, bathing the floorboards in crisp daylight. Framing myself amidst the cascading folds, I held my stance to let the sheer majesty of the moment linger. Dramatic presence is never accidental; it must be seized.
