Luke Skywalker 💫 - Clearing the Copper Fins - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 65

I sat down on the edge of a weathered equipment crate near the hangar boundary, turning an old copper heat-sink coil in my hands. The tightly packed cooling fins were completely choked with caked red clay and dried moss from the jungle floor. Taking a slender iron cotter pin from my pouch, I worked along the narrow channels one by one. With each patient scrape, a neat crumb of baked earth fell away onto the scuffed metal, revealing the bright, unblemished copper beneath. When I blew softly across the open slots, a faint, clean draft whistled through the cylinder, restoring function to a forgotten part.
