A Gentle First Stretch
The wooden floor felt cool and solid beneath my back. For a long moment, I simply listened to the quiet room. Slowly, a gentle warmth spread toward my fingertips. I tried bending my right arm, and to my surprise, it moved. My soft paw slid across the smooth planks until it brushed against the dark blue fabric resting beside me. It was delightfully soft and textured. I gave it a quiet, careful pat, then relaxed my arm, content with this peaceful new beginning.
