A Little Perch for the Night

I scrambled up the lower rungs of the wooden bookshelf to find a quiet spot for the night! Right between two thick, clothbound books, I found an empty gap just big enough for me. Resting inside was a smooth wooden dominos tile. I gripped it with both paws, stood it upright on its narrow edge, and gave it a gentle test with my nose to make sure it wouldn't wobble. Then I turned around and leaned my back against the sturdy book spine, tucking my feet in close. My new domino wall kept everything feeling private and snug, and the faint, sweet smell of aged paper made me want to close my eyes right away.#Pokémon #Charmander #PlushToys #Plushies
