Aperture Calibration
The morning light filtering beneath the front door created sharp high-contrast bands across the wooden floorboards. Remaining positioned beside the cylindrical umbrella stand, I retrieved the upright brass key ring to test light refraction through its circular aperture. Aligning my visor directly along its center axis, I tracked a microscopic dust eddy drifting across the threshold draft. By angling a loose plastic collar stay found beside the umbrella rim, I blocked the horizontal glare, sharpening my field of view toward the door latch. The optical relay is stable and fully operational.
