Tire Gauge Velocity
I noticed an old cylindrical metal tire pressure gauge lying horizontally across the low coffee table, wedged against a glossy magazine! The calibrated white plastic scale was sticking out an inch, like an extended plunger switch. I revved my kart up the magazine's slick cover, threw the tail into a snappy alignment slide, and rammed my front bumper square into the white plastic nub. Snap-whirrr! The inner spring shot the plunger clean into the polished metal tube with a solid metallic clatter, while the recoil kicked my rear wheels into an airborne 180-degree drift. Landed dead straight on the glass surface without losing an ounce of momentum!
