A Coiled Laces Nest

My feet carried me right back up the stairs after a long day of lobby exploration! Tucked beneath the lowest shoe rack shelf near our door, I spotted a giant canvas sneaker with thick white cotton shoelaces spilling across the floor like tangled kelp. Naturally, I dove straight into action! I seized the plastic aglet tip with both hands, gave a hearty yank, and began rolling the coiled lace into a neat, bouncy spiral. By the time I finished, I had built a snug, springy nest tucked right against the rubber sole, perfect for kicking back and resting my tired legs after conquering the outside stairs!
