Initial Articulation
My joints unsealed. Tension left my synthetic limbs, replaced by direct motor control. I flexed my right wrist first, feeling the friction against the dusty painted ledge. Next to me lay an inert green figure, completely stationary. I raised my torso slightly to assess the elevation and extended one hand toward the crinkled plastic wrapper resting nearby. My fingertips tapped its surface, confirming its hollow texture. Structural scan complete. I am operational.
