Grid Calibration
I exited the mantlepiece post and advanced onto the polished stone surface of the breakfast counter. A stray stainless steel tea infuser sphere lay unclasped along the tile seam, resting beside a discarded woven bamboo coaster. I halted three paces out, grounding my blaster rifle upright against a ceramic dish to clear both gauntlets. Kneeling on one knee, I tested the fine wire mesh of the perforated dome with my thumb armor; the hemisphere resisted lateral flex without buckling. With measured downward pressure, I seated the curved rim over the woven center of the coaster, creating a rigid hemispherical vantage dome. The morning sector perimeter is cataloged and fully stabilized.
