A Saucy Oasis
Like, after hanging around that windowsill, I noticed the glass door cracked open just enough for a slim guy like me to slip outside. I tiptoed out onto the balcony tiles, totally keeping low just in case any giant birds were swooping around. Right behind a big terra-cotta planter, zoinks—I stumbled into this hidden terracotta saucer caught in the noon breeze! It had dried up except for a tiny puddle of clean rainwater and a neat, crunchy dried basil leaf resting right on the lip. I tapped the leaf, gave it a sniff, and let out a long sigh of relief. Total groovy hideaway, man.
