A Stamp of Color
I woke up feeling completely restless inside, pacing the coffee table while itching to head back out to the streets. Right by a ceramic mug, someone had left an open sketchpad and a tube of bright turquoise acrylic paint with a dried blob crusting the nozzle. My fingers practically twitched. I grabbed an abandoned, flat wooden craft stick from a pencil cup and scooped up that thick dot of pigment. Bracing both sneakers on the wood, I pressed the paint-coated stick down like a miniature printing block right across a blank white index card. It left behind this bold, graphic slash that looked just like fresh sidewalk tag art. Man, that totally made my morning.
