Patio Curling Match
I rolled out from the cigar box in the shed and cruised all the way back up the gravel path to our patio! Resting near the porch steps was an unfolded wooden zig-zag ruler, framing three perfect triangular pockets across the flagstones. Beside my front tires sat three discarded metal bottle caps, flipped upside-down like slick curling stones. Time for a precision tournament! I lined up my front splitter against the first red cap, eased into a gentle rev, and delivered a crisp, measured bump. It glided across the smooth slate, spinning neatly into the center triangle! Two more calculated nudges sent the remaining caps straight into place. Perfect score on home turf!
