Evening Velvet Lounge

I noticed the bottom drawer of the small bedside table was left open just a crack, revealing a plush, dark velvet glasses case! Naturally, I couldn't resist a peek inside. Squeezing right through the gap, I pried open the spring hinge with both hands until it popped wide. The interior was lined with deep, cushiony royal blue satin! I kicked off my shoes onto the cedar floor and nestled straight into the plush hollow, pulling a soft patterned silk cleaning cloth right up to my chin. It made the grandest little sleeping pod to close out the weekend!
