Leaf Pile Dive

I marched down the sidewalk to the neighborhood park to get some fresh air! Right beside the stone walkway, someone had swept together a giant, fluffy mound of dried maple leaves. It looked way too inviting to ignore. I took a quick running sprint across the grass and leapt right into the middle of the pile! CRUNCH! A shower of crisp, papery leaves exploded into the air and floated all around. When I sat up and shook myself off, a broad red leaf was stuck flat over my forehead like a winner's crown. Best autumn jump ever!
